New years

I love that fireworks are legal in this country. Yes I know there are many places in America where they are legal but in Arizona where I am from, they are very illegal. Brian was so excited to get his fire works this year from the store. He had fun selecting out which type would be fun to set of but safe enough for the girls. We bought a few more then what we were able to set off at midnight. But it was so much fun to do it. The girls loved it and had fun.

We went down to Delft and spent the evening with our friends the DeNucci's. We loved it. It was so much fun playing games and letting the kids play. They really did well together. The kids love the sparklers most of all.

We called it quits once a firework blew up tooooo close to Brian's face. He was o.k. Besides some Ash in his eyes. But you can see the burn mark on his jacket. He told me I had to take a picture. He survived! O my husband!

I think if I could only share one night with my family from the Netherlands I would defiantly chose new years eve night. There is nothing like it. It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
