London Trip

I have been working on this blog entry for about 2 months now. So on February 15-17 Brian and I went to London by ourselfs and left our kids with his mom who was here visiting. We had a wonderful time!

The first day we went to Kingston Palace and walked through the gardens there that turned out to be about a 3 mile walk. But it was so pretty and so enjoyable. We took so many pictures of the garden and One picture of the palace. It is where Princess Diana lived.

The next day we went to Buckingham palace and I was amazed at how everything was Gold leafed. The statues, the gates, everything. It was very pretty. Then we saw parlement squar that just reminded me of a Mary Poppins for some reason. Next we saw Big Ben which I thought was amazing and then last was Westminster abby. I was very disappointed that we couldn't take pictures inside Westminster. It was very Amazing. Every king and queen of England has a grand tumb inside. There was so much history to learn about. That evening we went to Ripplies Believe-it or not and then went to go see a Shakespear play at the theater. We saw the Taming of the Shrew of course.

The last day we went to the tower of London and went to see London Bridge. It was really neat seeing the Tower of London. It was the Castle of the Kings and Queens back in the 1200's or so but now it is a great museum. However, there were people living in the outside wall of the Castel. I thought that was interesting.

I put all of the Many pictures together into a movie.

We brought home gifts for the girls. For Kaitlyn a Crystal making kit from Ripplies Believe-it or Not. For Brianna a princess figure from the Buckingham palace. and for Brooke a King Henery the VIII bear from the Tower of London. They loved there gifts.
