The Linnaeushof

I'm so far behind on my blogging -- So I'm going to attempt to do some catching up.

Yes, we finally got to go to the Linnaeushof. We found a good weekend with good weather and we took the girls and we went. It was so unplanned. We woke up one Saturday morning and said, it is sunny out lets just go and we went. We forgot to take so manythings with us like water to drink, or food for Brooke, however it was so much fun and we enjoyed it.

Almost everything thing there, every ride every item you sat in was self powered. Meaning you had to peddle it, kind of like a bike to make it move or go anywhere. This was no amusement park for wimps. No lazy kids hanging out here with electric engines to move them around. If they wanted there bumper car to move they were going to peddle it (Fred Frinstone style) and make it move.

The girls had so much fun. We loved it, They loved it. The parents could ride a lot of of the rides and peddle alot of the rides. It was fun because it was like enjoyable exercise. I am all for enjoyable exercise. Although I think this park is pretty standard for the Dutch. Brian and I found it a Novelty because you just don't find things like this in America.

So here are so many pictures and movies!

The rest of the pictures

My friend Erna sent me her pictures that she took from camping. So I thought I would go ahead and post them.

Brian and Brooke Playing in the water

All the girls swimming with Nina's Dad.

At the pool they found a frog. They all jumped out to see it. Brian is helping them.

It started to rain so we ran back to the camp site to find a nice warm place to stay dry.

It is hard to see all the cool toys out in the lake but they are out there.

This is a "Spring Cushion". Works the same as a trampoline but falling off of it isn't so scary. The kids spent most of there time on this huge thing. Brian joined in too. He thought it was lots of fun.

We went out to Eat at a Texas Road house. It was so Good. One of the best places we have eaten!
Kaitlyn and Nina! Enjoying there friendship. Brian and the girls.
Below is Brianna just being toooo cute not to take pictures of her.

Camping the Dutch Way!

So we got to go spend a weekend up camping with with my friend Erna. She had a camping spot reserved that allowed her camper plus a tent. So they invited us up to join them for a few days.
We traveled up by train and made our way to the camping area. We got there and my goodness. If their were camping area's like this in Arizona, I think everyone would spend thier whole summer camping with there kids. It was the coolest place. It was like this huge amuzement place for children. There was so much to do. They had a huge pool with a water slide. They had the coolest parks all through the campsite. One was pirate themed with a pirate boat and all sorts of fun things to run around and play on. They had ponies to ride. They had this Huge jumping thing that the girls spent forever on. The lake had normal park toys all around it but all the slides went into the lake. In the middle of the lake there were park toys they could swim out to and play on. It looked like every kids dream come true. The girls were so happy there and did not want to leave. It was AWESOME! We loved it and enjoyed our time with our friends.
I only have a few pictures that I can post and the rest I will post when I get them from my friend Erna. I forgot my camera to many times as we went around but she had her camera phone.
