Guys night!

Brian had a guys night here at the house and it was a success! At least I heard a lot of laughing and happy guys talking. It almost sounded fun enough to join. But the girls and I were having our own enjoyable time up in the attic. We were watching movies and had special snacks and braiding each others hair. We had a lot of fun. Stayed up to late and then feel asleep together on the bed. I love having that special time with the girls when we just get to play together.

Be Mine!

Knowing Valentines day wasn't going to be celebrated at school I decided to help by having the girls make little valentines bags for themselves and we would write each other love notes and put them in the bag. It was a success. Valentines day was so much fun.

Brian's mom was here to visit and it made it extra special for the girls to have Grandma Greer here to be with them on Valentines day. I found this little flowers that sang "you are my sunshine" and read "I love you" I thought they were perfect for the girls for valentines day. They loved reading their love notes.
We had a primary activity day that morning also which was a lot of fun. They got to go play games with there friends which they always love. One of the games was to see who could fit the most marshmallows in there mouths. I was proud of both of my girls stamina in this game. But Kaitlyn's large mouth took the cake. She won with the most marshmallows in her mouth and I think she could have done another. A close second was a little 3 year old Haley in our ward who had an amazing mouth!

Brianna's Dance Performance

Brianna had been doing a K3 Dance class and it was time for her class to do a performance. The theme was to have the kids dress up like they were in a Winter Wonderland. So we had fun and Dress Brianna up like the Winter Princess.

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever! I think I'm allowed to think that! I edited the video of all of the dances of that night and tried to put them together in a little short video. It was hard to do because Brianna was always in the back and the dark part of the stage but I tried to put in the fun songs and the parts where you could see her.

You will notice that there is a slide show going on in the back grown on a screen behind where the kids are dancing. It was fun it was pictures of the kid through out the year in the dance class. However it caused a problem once all the kids noticed it. They decided they wanted to watch the slide show too. All of the kids ended up turning around and facing the screen and dancing backwards. So for 1/2 of the performance we got to see there backs. This was kind of beneficial to me since Brianna was always in Back she was now at the front of the stage and I could get great Video's of her dancing (facing away from me of course :-) As a mom I was a little stressed watching my kid dancing backwards so close to the edge of the stage but no one fell off so it was a good night!

You will also notice one song that sounds and looks an awful lot like the "Hookie Pookie"... It is called the "Hookie Tookie".

Kaitlyn got to take this class last year so she was dancing away next to me doing all the dances perfectly. I took a picture just so I could remember. Kaitlyn wanted to go up on stage and dance again so badly. She was so cute.

This is Brianna and her friend Abby from her school class. They were both in this class together. After the dance was over Abby gave this flower to Brianna. It was so sweet of Abby.
