In preparation for Sinterklas to come Brianna made herself a Hat and beard. She Bravely wore it to school on Monday. All the kinds in her class laughed and thought she was funny. I thought about me back then and how there was NO! way I would have been able to wear something like that and been different then the rest of my class. In fact I felt overwhelmed and embarased by the attention she was getting. However she confidently made a joke about it and laughed with them and was so proud of her hat and beard. I was so proud of her for the confidence that she has and the abilities she has to be herself and just enjoy life. I admire Brianna for this. I hope she will always be able to stand out and be herself and not care if she is different as long as it is something that she wants to do.

Good for Brianna! I am very impressed. I'm just like you, I get embarrassed way too easy. I think it's so great she has the confidence to just be herself. I bet people will flock to her throughout her life.
