The Elders from Church called and asked if we could provided dinner for 2 visiting elders. We agreed and bought some extra stuff so they could make a gingerbread house too.
The girls love it every time the missionaries come over for dinner. The bounce to the door when the bell rings and talk non-stop to the missionaries until they leave. This time the bell rang and the same thing happened they ran yelling to the door. We were at the oven cooking and finishing up. Brianna comes into me and says in a very serious tone of voice. "Mom, when are the real missionaries going to get here." She had left the visiting Elders at the door because they were not the "real" missionaries that we have a church every week. Brianna loves Elder Walker the best. We had to go and invite the elders in.
After a short amount of time the girls decided these elders were equally as cool and began talking away. We had such an enjoyable time making our gingerbread houses. These elders shared with us that one of the most interesting things they have eaten over here is pasta with apple sause on it. I had to go ask a few of my friends about it. They said they have never done apple sause on their pasta but they do, do apple sause on there vegitables, it makes them taste better they say. It is something to think about. Maybe someday I will try it?
The Elders... Need I say more. 19(ish) year old boys are so weird.
