We were riding along in our line, Brian first Kaitlyn next and me behind. Kaitlyn is riding along in a nice straight line on the bike path and then she suddenly just falls over. The only thing I can figure is she fell asleep. She literally just fell over for no reason at all. I asked her what happened and she doesn't know. I think the tranquility of the day made her a bit too relaxed. She wanted me to take pictures of her wounds. So here is a pictures of her and a scraped elbow and knee. Right after I took this picture we even had a police officer come by and offer to give us a ride somewhere to get band aids. I really wished I took a picture of that. It made Kaitlyn feel special.

We were able to stop by the Larson's house who are friends in the ward (since 1/2 of our ward lives in Wassenaar, it was easy to find someone to help) and get some band aids and cleaned her up and then we left her bike at their house and put her on Brian's bike and went on our way.
Getting to the Wassenaar beach was fun. We discovered that you had to climb a small mountain to get to the ocean. Not really a mountain it was just a large hill. We were amazed at the Dutch at that point that they drained all this land because it was obviously below sea level.
I loved the beach at Wassenaar. I loved it because there was so many people on this beach that were speaking English, not just English but American English. I LOVED it! There were plenty of people speaking Dutch it was just so nice to hear that common familiar sound of American English here and there.
The girls loved the beach too and Kaitlyn's injuries didn't stop her from jumping in the water and having fun. It was a good day. On the way home we stopped by a pannenkoeken restaurant that had 102 different types of Dutch pancakes to chose from. The girls got strawberries and ice cream on there pancakes. Brooke just wanted fries. It was a great day and we enjoyed it.

Looks like fun. I keep telling Jaymie we need to take the kids to the beach, (Kylie keeps begging for it. She wants to go to the "ocean like arial") but for some reason he is totally aginst it. He thinks it will be to much of a headache or something.
